While Alison doesn't exactly come from an "artistic" background, having studied and worked in IT to be exact, she certainly found her calling when she started picking up a camera a few years ago!
In Summer 2006, Alison was the winner of the Summer section of RTE Weather Photography Competition. That year, she also received her Licentiate (from the Irish Photographic Federation)
